Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelo
The cute couple first met in 1995 when they played love interests on the popular soap opera All My Children. The morning talk show personality and Riverdale star then moved to Las Vegas on May 1, 1996.
The Consuelos knew Rapa was the one “long prior,” once telling Andy Cohen on Observe What Happens Live, “We’d go out with bunches of individuals from work and gradually each date the bunch got littler. It was just the two of us. I was shy, I wasn’t very aggressive like that.”
But Ripa revealed that the couple almost split before their wedding.
“We broke up and got back together the day before we eloped and eloped,” he detailed on the Comments Celebs podcast in 2018. Yes, we ran away. We went to Vegas and got married.
More than 27 a long time and three children afterward, their marriage is still going solid. And, in a full-circle minute, Ripa and Consuelos are sharing the screen together, with Consuelos authoritatively supplanting Ryan Seacrest as her lasting Live co-host final April.
